Workshop Description: This interactive workshop is designed to help participants interpret and apply the U.S. federal regulations and policies in human research protections, in the context of community based and clinical research. This will be an intermediate level workshop and participants are expected to have a working knowledge of the HHS regulations on human research protections. The workshop will include an overview of current regulations and audience participation in the review of a research protocol.
Workshop co-sponsored by the Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP) and the Collaborative Research Center for American Indian Health (CRCAIH).

Workshop Description: The purpose of this workshop is to take participants from an idea for a quantitative study from concept to design to analysis. Participants will learn about study design, operationalizing measurements and survey development, and basic analysis techniques. Participants will also learn about available trainings and resources in this area. Participants are encouraged to bring design ideas for discussion and feedback.
