Who should attend?
Researchers; tribal organization or program staff; tribal leadership; IRB members; physicians and other healthcare providers; social services workers; students interested in research, healthcare, or health disparities.
Is there a fee for registration?
No! There is no registration fee for the Summit or the Behavioral RCT Symposium
When does registration close?
Online registration will close April 22, 2019. Onsite registration will be available day-of, provided we have not reached capacity.
What if I need to cancel or change my registration?
What if I can only attend one day or part of a day?
There will be someone staffing the registration table all day if you need to arrive late. Of course we would encourage everyone to attend the full Summit.
Are meals included?
Yes. We will be serving breakfast, snacks, and lunch.
Will there be a poster session?
Yes. The Poster Session will take place before lunch on April 30th. Please submit posters by March 31, 2019. Posters can be left up for the duration of the Summit.
Will there be time for networking?
Yes. We encourage you to utilize the poster session, lunch, and break times to network.
What if I need special accommodations?
Please indicate on your registration form any special accommodations or dietary needs. We have lactation rooms onsite and will be able to provide alternative meal options for those with special dietary needs.
Are there travel scholarships?
Yes. This year we are happy to be able to provide a limited number of travel scholarships.
Is there a conference hotel room block?
No, we do not have a block of rooms set aside at any particular hotel. Sioux Falls has an large number of hotel options to fit a variety of budgets. Check out the website for the Sioux Falls Visitor's Bureau.
Where is the Sanford Center?
The Sanford Center is near the juncture of I90 and I229 in the northeast part of Sioux Falls. The Sanford Center houses Sanford Research and the Sanford Health Corporate offices. (Not to be confused with the Denny Sanford Premier Center, in central Sioux Falls off of Russell Street, where music and sporting events are held.)
Where should I park?
Event parking is in the West Lot on the west side of the building. Please do not park in the South Lot.
